Presentation of Training resources and briefing by PUM Experts. The objective is to re-invent the wheel through the introduction of Sustainable and new hospitality courses to Keep up with the demand in the hospitality industry. The concept will be centred around training the trainer course on specific programs on Bakery among other programs. The New Bakery Program will feature nutritional healthy bread, gluten free bread recipes, whole wheat bread etc. The Director General of GTHI reiterated the need for specialized training in cost control, food sciences, pastry and bakery among others. The meeting was attended by Irma Ketels(Senior expert hospitality management, Catering and Finance), Bert Steelhouder(Sector Coordinator- Bakery) and Ebrima Jatta( Local Representative PUM). GTHI was represented by Daouda Niang( DG), Dawda Baldeh ( Registrar), Sheriff Conteh( HoD Room Division) and Peter Mendy ( HoD Research and Consultancy).
